Following this transformation period, the Next Generation Cash Registers were introduced and the most important aspect for all retailer companies was the integration of their existing ERP with other systems. Thus, we at Lescon have benefited from the advantages of Nebim’s flexible infrastructure which easily integrates with other systems.
As one of the leading sports clothing companies, can you please tell us about LESCON’s success story?
Even though our company has been active in this sector since the 1980’s, Lescon’s history begins in 1992. We ventured our first steps in the sector by manufacturing sports trainers; then by manufacturing the first synthetic football field shoes, we became a well-known and credible brand. By the end of 1990’s, Lescon had become a preferred brand in sports trainers with its quality and wide selection. In the following years, in line with our brand mission of wide variety, we added sportswear and accessories to our product range for sportsmen and casual wear consumers to satisfy their needs for high quality sportswear. During this period, we focused on opening stores and increasing the number of our distributors, which are essential for brand building and modern marketing. Today, Lescon is the first and only Turkish sportswear and shoe brand in this sector with its 40 concept stores and over 800 distributors all around Turkey.
What were your targets when you applied Nebim’s solutions for Lescon? How much of these targets have you achieved so far?
We have been working with Nebim for a long time. Our targets were the following: to be able to catch-up with the changing and developing times quickly, to connect all function fields under an integrated system, to be able to transfer data through different units without complications, to achieve efficiency and to be able to analyze and track every step in detail from the headquarters.
We believe that a certain period of time is required for users to get adapted to this system, as well as for the ERP to get adapted to a company’s particular internal dynamics and to fully function with all aspects. This is a step-by-step process. At times like these, what matters most is the solution-oriented approach of the company you are collaborating with, its support and its team of experts. As Lescon, we consider ourselves at the beginning of our journey. We’re managing many of our processes more efficiently with Nebim V3.
Can you please tell us about your transformation process with Nebim for e-Ledger, e-Invoice and e-Archive?
I can easily say that by working together with Nebim’s team, we have successfully completed all integration phases of the mandatory e-Transformation process. Nebim has played a significant role in our trouble-free completion of this process because of their preparation on time.

How was the year 2015 for Lescon? What are your targets for 2016?
At Lescon we make our moves by taking the socio-cultural and economic changes into account, as well as by making the necessary investment plans that support these predictions, and by calculating each and every step. Thus, we are proud to have accomplished 2015 by reaching our growth goals despite the economic and sector realities.
We have bigger goals for 2016. Our targets increase and grow rapidly every day. In order to accomplish these goals, as the sole Turkish active sports brand, Lescon shall be made more accessible through our online sales website www.lescon.com.tr and our wholesale channel, and also with our existing stores in many Turkish cities as well as those we are planning to open. We wholeheartedly believe that our success momentum is going to continue.
