Our structure at Olgarlar was growing and improving rapidly. We had to make our ERP transition in accordance with this. Our priority was to obtain fast and solution-oriented reports. We made our choice in favor of Nebim V3 ERP because we saw that it could meet our needs. With Nebim V3, we now have an integrated structure that is flexible in many ways which were not possible before. Let’s talk about the various contributions of Nebim V3:

Could you please talk about the foundation of SPX, a worldwide leading sports brand?
SPX was founded in 1989 under the name Sport Point. The aim was to move away from the sports stores focused on team sports and to develop a different retail culture by specializing in winter sports and racket sports. This first store was opened with love for sports, and it was to become a specialty store which sets a good example not only in Turkey but also in the world. The years went by and Sports Point improved itself; new products were added and team sports were completely excluded. Sometime during these years the word Extreme was added to the company name and the Sports Point Extreme logo was put into use. Now, the target was clear: to specialize in extreme and alternative sports.
New stores were then opened, and our store in Akatlar was opened in 1994 and then moved inside the Akmerkez mall. SPX continued to grow with new stores. A great range of innovative products were introduced to the Turkish market during this period of 25 years. The SPX stores on Bağdat Avenue and in Kızıltoprak, which were opened in 1997, were chosen to be the best winter specialty stores in Europe by Rossignol International and their images were distributed to the European skiing sector as a good example.
How did you become acquinted with Nebim?
In 2003, as we wanted to have a more systematic and orderly structure, our search for a program started. We were looking for the best. Nebim has significant experience, especially in the retail sector. Our group has been using Nebim Winner since 2003. Our collaboration with Nebim moved into the next level as we grew, and we started using the upgraded version, Nebim V3 ERP. It is important to work with an ERP team that knows the company infrastructure well. In this regard, we benefitted from collaborating with Nebim both during the transition phase and during the implementation. In the upcoming periods, we intend to use Nebim at our other group companies as well.
Could you please tell us about the reasons for choosing Nebim V3 ERP and its contributions to your business processes?
As mentioned in the answer to the previous question, our structure at Olgarlar was growing and improving rapidly. We had to make our ERP transition in accordance with this. We started implementing multiple campaigns in our stores simultaneously with Nebim V3 POS.Thanks to the improvements in product management, we can access all the details that we want in the reports, as color codes and size structures can be assigned without limits and thanks to various additional features. We can easily track the movements related to imports and exports files. We can calculate costs in an easier manner because we can automatically add the import costs to the related file. Thanks to the banking module, we can follow our business processes with the banks in the system more efficiently. Nebim V3 Business Partner structure allows us to manage our dealerships and franchises easily on the same system.
What are the future plans of your company?
Our strategic planning for the upcoming three years foresees a fast growth on the retail side. You will be seeing our SPX, Quiksilver and Vault stores at many places.
